What’s On: End of Autumn Term @ Millfield Music

Can you believe it’s nearly the end of first term already? It’s been a breathless term of concerts and sessions of every shape and size! And it hasn’t finished yet – three big performances to round off a memorable start to the year…

On Monday 27th November at 7.15pm, the Johnson Hall will host an Evening Recital featuring some of our finest performers. A wide range of styles and instruments will be presented in what promises to be a wonderful evening, showcasing the diversity of talent at Millfield.

Later in the week, the school will once again return to the glorious settings of Wells Cathedral on Friday 1st December at 10.30am for the annual Carol Service. This is the perfect way to start the festive period, with performances from both Millfield Chorale and Camerata as well as carols for the whole congregation to sing along to. Make sure you’re there in good spirits and good voice!

On the last week of term, the Music School will present the highlight of our concert programme, Music at Millfield. In this performance, we will celebrate all of the fantastic ensembles at our school in a concert of diversity and excitement. From Orchestra to Camerata, Brass Band to Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble to A Cappella, the programme truly does have something for all! Come along to the Johnson Hall at 7.15pm on Thursday 7th December to witness it!
