What’s On in November

After a restful half term break, Millfield Music School is straight back into action with some fantastic upcoming events. The Johnson Hall is bustling with live music for everyone, all of which are free to attend – we hope that you will be able to come down and experience it with us!

November kicks off with the first Johnson Session of the year on Saturday 11th in the Johnson Hall. Always a lively occasion, Millfield’s singer-songwriters and rockers come out in force for an informal and high energy session. Starting at 7.15pm, this promises to be a great evening of music making that is well worth coming to watch.

On Tuesday 14th, the BBC Big Band come down for the first of our International Concert Series. This gig is hotly anticipated and, as such, is sold out. However, there are tickets still available for the other concerts in the series – check out the details here and make sure you book now to avoid disappointment!

Later on in the week, Tea and Music takes place on Thursday 16th November at 4.15pm. After a marvellous first concert earlier in the year, there is an impressive number of excellent performers signed up to perform in the Johnson Hall Foyer. To witness the musical talent of Millfield, accompanied by a fine selection of teas and cakes, is a real treat!

In the second half of the term, we have some extremely exciting performances lined up, including our Carol Service on Thursday 30th November and our termly showcase, Music at Millfield on Thursday 7th December – stay tuned for more details!
